Saw this on emog, and I don't think it has been aired here:

Basically French petrol labelled 95E10 has 10% bio-ethanol which damages metal fuel tanks, hoses and connectors in "cars built before 2000" - "newer cars having plastic tanks".

I have no idea whether this same date range applies to Morgans, whether Trad or Aero. I'm pretty sure new Morgans don't have plastic tanks. The suggestion is to use Euro 95 or 98, and to beware the potential for confusion.

There has also been a fair bit of discussion on the other lists about this - seems there is a strong feeling that this is a typical Telegraph thing - the US has been using 10% ethanol for something like 7 years without ill effects.
