I brought my 1970 4/4 home last weekned. The car has been sittin for the last 12 years. I'm getting ready for a complete rebuild. Today was the first day I had to work on it. She's up and running! I'd been trying to decide what I want for an engine in the car figuring that a complete rebuild was an opportunity to put a more modern engine in her. I've decided. Nostalgia and that beautiful crossflow sound have won me over.
I love my car!

The 4/4 with the cross flow is one of the best handling Mogs around. Nice and light. Well balanced. Dick

Good decision. Such a sweet motor and more than enough performance should you decide to tune it.
