No. The chimneys would be wide open and beautifully designed but not engineered. The Brooklands version would keep breaking off because it was not sufficiently resistant to heat ooo hide

Coming into a primarily British forum and insulting the natives isn't usually a good idea...

Lyons (who made cakes and ran teashops) sponsored Cambridge university to build EDSAC (first program run in 1949), this was intended to prove the concept of a business computer. Following this its successor LEO went into production use in 1951. Lyons went on sell LEOs and provide an outsourcing facility but ultimately they were a cake maker not an IT company so they merged the LEO business with EEC. So you could argue that EDSAC was the first commercial computer running in 1949'

Then there was CSIRAC

I've followed this thread and I may have missed it altogether, but isn't the dealer meeting where MMC announces the next year's new models?

If so, what was the outcome of the dealer meeting?

Or is this something that's not divulged until some auto show, for new cars in general?

If it is that they wait for an auto show, what is the purpose of the dealer meeting?

I have an email into my dealer, that meeting was last week, I was specifically asking him if I should get a 2015 build order in or if he knew what was going on for 2016, he said he would get back to me after the dealer meeting. Of course he didn't say exactly when after.

Why wouldn't you want a 2016 over a 2015?

For me it's because I want mine as soon as possible. Mine might very well be the last 2015 made. Starts production on 12/7 and will be finished right before their holiday break which starts 12/18.
