had to rest after lunch and a mountainbike-ride this morning, now up for a ride with Moggie and the Msses, I'll take the pictures, indeed: more style than function, but allows us to drive "open" on track-days  instead of heaving to put up the hood

Cereal, I understand the Librands is in two parts, the base frame and the bolt-on removable roll-bar. They do a higher roll-bar which I guess is suitable for competition use? no idea if it would pass the MSA? For road-use (and track-day) I would think the lower one will still add reasonable extra protection in an accident? JJW

for racing you also need a "bar" that goes down to the footwell You don't actually (although it does add extra support). For racing in the UK, and in Europe at least, the rollbar spec is discussed here ( http://www.mogsport.net/general/tech.html)

Don't know if I should admit to this, but I have a "Time Team" jumper - like the old guy with the beard - multiple thin stripes, with matching bobble hat & scarf. I have no shame.......
