Funnily enough Peter, my MiTo suffers the same problem and the handbook says the same!

All three of the Caterham 7s I have owned have suffered from misty dials, as well as my 4/4. The accepted solution on a 7 was drilling ventilation holes. I never bothered ... It's all part of the charm!

I thought that this issue of misting instruments was really a little ridiculous given the coatings that are now available it should be possible to make the inside of the glass permanently mist free.
