Hello, I recently collected my newly acquired 1974 4/4 four seater, and the previous owner gave me a tool for undoing and tightening side screen knurled nuts; see photo.  Can anyone advise if this was a tool Morgan provided new with cars back then, or is it an owner made tool? As an aside the car, albeit with low miles, had no problem with the journey from Hampshire to SW France in spite of hail and snow! Cheers

It's a sidescreen Tommy Bar, supplied with the car.

Should have a hole in through the bar at one end to fix on your key ring. For God sake dont do what I used to do and tighten the chrome side screen knobs to tight they snap off . Hence after many I moved to S/steel and never snapped another .

Colonel Mustard, in the kitchen, with a piece of lead pipe.
You won't need that on your Aero. It looks a genuine Morgan part, although the one I had was nice and shiney and stayed on my key ring,

Tomy bar - I made a couple of extras out of stainless - they are on my keyrings. Morgan provided one with my new car in 2010 - but no mention of them in the handbook! A quick tighten will stop the sidescreens rattling.
Sidescreens often cut down on the whining noise at speed - the one that emanates from the passenger seat!

Yes....tommy bar for nipping the sidescreen fixings.
Now s/s not rusty mild...
I keep one on keyring and spare in glovebox.

That little bar is in a very very bad state , I would get a new one !
