Hi Guys,
Its never a good idea to put a damp car away in a garage.

In winter I always try to only drive on dry roads however I may get caught out one day.

Any recommendations of makes and models of blowers/dryers would be appreciated.

I may be wrong but I would have thought a good hand held dryer would be best so that one can get under the rear boot etc.

I make sure my 4/4 is wiped off (with a microfibre drying towel) prior to going back in the garage. Then ensure that there is good air circulation. I am lucky that my garage links directly to a utility room, so that door is then left open, thus minimising condensation.
On very cold days, I do have a small, thermostatically controlled, greenhouse heater. This seems to work.

Quite a few people I know use a leaf blower to dry their cars..... I have such a thing, but have never used it. I have a dehumidifier running 24/7 in the barns which keeps them dry and rust free.

This does a pretty good job on my m3w & the hot rods..i have all the optional stickers on my m3w & When drying it you shouldn't wipe over the stickers as you can peel off the corners. plus i just polished all the toys & I don't want to reswirl the paint jobs. I just ordered a foam 6 blaster from chemical guys, because with all the stickers it takes a while to wash & dry my mog.

I use a Master Blaster blow drier, which is basically a flipping great motor & a long tube! It works brilliantly on all the crooks & nannies of the three wheeler, especially around the engine area.

Once it's indoors again, it's a pleasure to detail it.

Just eBay motorcycle drier or ask Lord Google etc. I think dog groomers use similar things too.

Wouldn't be without mine.

I've always depended on the dehumidifier running in the garage to dry the Morgan off, but I noticed at the NEC this year there were all sorts of blow driers available.

The Master Blasters look good, but at nearly 350 quid they're a bit of a luxury if one doesn't intend getting one's car wet very often. For a car that's regularly driven in wet weather and subjected to frequent washing I would think they would be very useful.

That's the one! I think that's mine as the more powerful ones look like a cylinder Hoover & this size is easy to carry in one hand & chase the drops with the other..

Mine was a show offer many moons ago.

They're so powerful that if you start it with the hose on the drive, it's a real game to grab it..!

I was going to buy an air blaster but found a pet dryer on ebay which cost just a whisker over £50 and is really really good. Very powerful jet of warm air - it dries the car quickly and is far better value. There are lots of them on ebay and as i said the cost is about £52.
