Yes stevemag, you are losing the plot and that's probably how many of us M3W owners started.....but don't worry, just enjoy the good feeling and go with it as there is no known cure....well apart from a 2012 M3W ;-)

Start by throwing your hood away, then take your car to the dealer every few weeks for a few days. That should get you accustomed to the lifestyle.
