Not sure why but you now have me thinking.....and I have spent some time today looking at M3W.....the appeal is there....the problems are there....but there is something that attracts me.
You are a nuisance......look what you've started....maybe it's the long dark days....the weather....or something more sinister....but I have an urge to do the same.
I have a vision of having a trailer as well, so I can head off to Europe with the M3W in tow.....but all the benefits of the tin top en route....then set up camp and drive the M3W.....
Oh dear.....
My problem is the dog ! He's staying I also rent a garage for my moggy as my home is devoid of parking or a garage It wasn't a design feature on a cottage built in 1790
I have no room for 7 wheels ( morgan) as well as the two motor cycles in the shed. I need to have but one morgan, One modern tin top ( lives on the street/lane) and one motorcycle.....
I'm still looking at m3w as a replacement for my current two bikes... just an idea Perhaps I should retire from bikes to solve my problem?

We're both bike riders since very young. Since the M3W's the bikes are standing as retired in the garage. The M3W's give so much more fun ! And ............ we take the dog on every ride.
If that is the Triking T4 it is looking good, although the rear lights "box" still makes the back look heavy, I like the Morgan pods better. I assume it can take the rear swing arm and components from Moto Guzzis other than just the Cali? A 1400 engine maybe?
yes it will take the cali drivetrain, just not a single sided swingarm (i think) The light pods are just in the fibreglas tub, not a hard fix to do a "podectomy", and motorcycle style lights on a strut like the morgan.

Well I've made a few tentative enquiries with dealers regards morgan threewheeler. It seems they don't value my minter of a m4w. The values / px were laughable (under 10k !!!) Most just want to sell me a m3w on credit! I want to pay cash ! So with such lack of enthusiasm with dealerships I guess I shall be staying with " little Jeannie" my trusty 4 seater I shall sell my Royal Enfield cafe racer, keep the cheap honda vfr. Best way forward for me My dog will be very happy as he loves the back seat to himself

I've been reading this thread with great interest as I too could easily be led astray from 4 wheels to 3, but crystalising the depreciation on my 2 year old (according to valuations from three dealers) would be too much to bear. So I too will stick with my lovely 4 seater for a while longer. The 4 seater is a great car, but I do love the M3W as well !
Whilst I appreciate "dealers" are in business to make money, gross profiteering merely means "no sale " perhaps they think Morgan owners are " loaded & stupid" . To be fair I've tried x2 dealers. I'm sure others may be better and have better reputations to uphold. Anyway Xmas looms and the possible m3w can wait until next year As some of you have said I'd be mad to part with my car I paid considerably more for my car than £10k private purchase 2yrs ago. The same dealers are selling cars like mine for approaching £20k....... No wonder their stock languishes unsold for many months
It's gut wrenchingly disappointing when you get insulted by a trade in offer. It happened to me last year at the VW dealer, so they lost a sale, but they don't care, apparently.
Another option is to sell your car in the spring on Car & Classic.
