Hahaha they would work, if they were there :P The car was stripped out completely inside, so no glass, all pollycarb, no carpets, no door cards, just aluminium sheets and i want to put some of the stuff back into the car just so it can look as good insde as it does outside.

Congratulations on the purchase, Olleyjp! Why was it stripped? I'm curious...

cheers spud! It was stripped and and used as a track and hillclimb car. But whoever took the interior out, didn't put it all together so it could all go back in, so i have the bit of carpet for under the back of both seats, the front passenger carpet (in not v good condition), the soft top, in good condition, most of the door cards, bar the middle wooden bar and the door handles at the bottom, and the boot lining kit in not v good condition, but thats away to be re-trimmed. Also has a rear roll cage, coming out, polly carb windows, coming out and glass going back in, and i think thats it, oh wait, the whole heater unit needs to go back in as well haha. so that will be an interesting jobby to do. i've spoken to russell at RPM Morgan, So hopefully, between us and this forum i will be able to source everything i need, so im definately willing to trade some of the race parts for standard parts if folks have got?

So no jokes about the economic prudence of people from the city of furry slippers then.... (yes, check my spelling...)
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

Is this the ex-Phil MacKelvey Aero 8, that was being turned into a Morgan Challange car?
Olleyjp, as a suggestion, perhaps Russell could check what the factory have in terms of crash test cars / seriously damaged Aero 8s. There was a time when they had a few at Malvern (written off by dealers / journalists, etc), perhaps they could offer you some salvage parts? As it is an S1, you may struggle as I believe all the cars were later series. However, I'd be surprised if they cannot offer you spare parts for the S1.

Oi watch it hahaha :p We're not as thrifty as folks think you know, i mean when it gets cold we'll sit round a candle and if its seriously cold we may even light it! Yeah Simon thats the plan, i've given Russell a list of things im after and just thought i'd try and see what else i can find on here as well so that i can get as much together as possible. Oh while im asking, i've been hunting high and low and its surprisingly difficult to find some good interior/engine bay shots of an S1 so if anyone has could you either PM or post them up, i'd be hugely thankful!!!
