Has anyone fitted brake reaction bars, is there a noticeable difference when fitted (is it worthwhile) and are they easy to diy fit?

Thanks, Ian

Yes, yes, and yes! Lots of people have fitted them, they make a very noticeable improvement, and they are dead easy to fit.

But you need to be a little careful drilling the chassis. Make sure it's a good sharp bit and I used stainless bolts with some thickish washers too.

Plenty of enthusiastic responses, I'd better add them to Santa's list then, cheers, Ian

fitted at the same time as mulfab springs, new king pins, steering bearings and AVO's all round. To say the car was transformed would be an understatement.

Hi HJ, not sure what year your car is but the later GDI seems to be better in that regard than earlier plus 4's. For my type of driving (read slowish!) it seems perfectly adequate, I really can't fault it and certainly wouldn't change anything more than fitting the reaction bars at this stage.

Have had them on all three of my Morgans.
yes, they do help tighten the front end a bit.

As Steve says - to paraphrase Johnny Cash "one step at a time" smile

The brake reaction bars make my 2014 4/4 way more drivable. I had them with all former Mogs as well. TBH I'm wondering why this effective but cheap bit is not used during the standard built process. Main difference is a much better control of the ride and brake w/o getting any disadvantage. E.g. I'm personally not a friend of a panhard rod, this item makes the rear axle more controlled but the quality of comfort may suffer.
