When I bought the Supersport I was considering a similarly priced XKR-S

Currently the trade-in price of the Supersport would be about 90-100% of what I paid - the XKR-S about 50% cheers

There are always regrets - but financially there are none. I suspect the XKRS would have been the better GT and may have lead to me not getting the Alpina B5s - so you could argue the lack of Morgan depreciation could be netted out against buying another car.

My only annoyance is that I didn't drive it as much as I could/should in 2015.

Sounds exactly like the same situation as I found myself in with the Coupe. I so wanted to make it my everyday car but in the end had to put another car next to it on the drive which ended up costing more money.

But every time I see the Coupe in a window reflection or see the zombie faces staring I thank my lucky stars I can.


Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

It is brilliant in Spring/Autumn as a useable everyday car but in summer the air-con is pathetic and in winter - well - I don't have winter tyres.

However on the back roads the XKRS can't get close mostly because the Morgan can be placed so easily on the road - it is surprisingly narrow.

I just wish it had more legroom
