Have used it for years. It is a perfect tool for many small and large jobs in the garage. Has been helpful both on my motorcycles and cars. + many other things in the house.
Considering now a rechargeable battery version 8200.

As others have said - common sense applies, and limited use on cars, but a great tool. I've had mine out today to sand inside some holes in wood..............

If you do go for a Dremel, get a genuine one, the cheap copies really are pretty poor in comparison.
As others have said - worth paying the extra $ for the real McCoy - a Dremel. I've had a rechargeable Dremel for a few years - they're solidly made and won't burn out. Proper bit of kit.

Had mine a few years now and find it very good. I use it mainly for polishing /grinding and sanding. Wire brush tools can also be handy to clean stuff too.
My only criticism is that the slowest speed could be lower, but no problem so far.
I have a storage case with mine and also bought a multi-compartment case to store accessories and bits bought over time.

I use a dremel with a sandpaper disk to keep my toe nails trimmed. Works a treat.

A true multi tool indeed, much safer than using the angle grinder Bert Munroe's technique in The World's Fastest Indian!!
