Excuse my ignorance, but is not the Ford Cyclone 3.7 emissions-certified? farmer

I suspect that whoever wrote that article had the blinkered view that the only engine worthy for the cars mentioned is a V8!

I just looked it up. Isn't 6.2 litres and 430hp a bit over the top for a trad?

It is a prefect replica. Even squeaks in the same places.

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

Actually , Peter. The Corvette engine is already available in a Plus 8. Bill Fink in San Francisco will install a full 6 liter Corvette drivetrain in your post-1984 Plus 8 for $35,000. More than a dozen have been converted so far. It's known in America as the "Plus 8 Plus".

6.2 litres and 430 hp, that would make the trad interesting, you'd need a wardrobe full of trousers as well!! bring it on

Yes I know about the "Mogvette". I can't see a factory installation in a new car though. Because it can be done doesn't necessarily mean it should be done.

it could ruin the company. Consumer rights in the US are a little bit different to the "it's a Morgan, they all do that" -approach.
I am still waiting for the official information to upgrade the M3W frame for my 2013 model as that was classified unsave in GB but not in Austria (both EU countries!) yet.

The Morgan I really want to buy is the Plus e.
This might be an opportune time, since the Plus e meets the pollution standards and MMC has already done much of the engineering. I tried to get on Morgan's list of interested customers, but unfortunately it is in hiatus. I sent them a note anyway and I'll talk to a US dealer tomorrow.

Just think: when they ask "Is it a replica?" our American cousins will be able to proudly respond "Yes sir! It sure is!"

To all the President Trump replies,

Trump is an embarrassment to us all and there is no way that there are enough crazys in this country to get him elected. So let's stop talking about him like he is relevant.

The college that has correctly predicted the presidential race results since 1975 has Bernie Sanders winning anyways.
