First drive in my +4 Derwent Resevoir
I took the car up to Barnard Castle on a clear and cool winters day. Stopped for a few photographs and this was my favourite from the drive. A brilliant day.

You should have popped into Carrossirie they built that grey 4/4 with the GT6 type roof . Its a good few years ago 1990s when  and I parked the mog in the main street in Barny went for a walk . On returning I was walking up the nearside and spotted a pair of shoes pokeing out from under the mog . Here was an elderly chap in a good suit under the mog , when he climbed out I asked " what are you under the mog" , "used to have one wanted to know if it was still the same and no change". I asked, "what if I had jumped in and started " . "I would have been out in a shot " We stood talking for a while and the odd bit was he was an old soldier had not seen his old pal since the war . They had found each other after years of searching and he had come up from down south to visit , yet while walking down the high street he had to get under the mog for a look . His mate had just walked on down the street and left him under the mog. Its great that a stranger who once owned a mog can have the confidence to get on his back under another and know its totally acceptable with mog owners .

Great to see you are getting into the spirt of owning a Morgan. Whether it is summer or winter (and providing there is no salt on the road) when it is a sunny day quite a few of us can be found using our Morgans. (unless you live in the frozen North - JTL)

Hoggy, Lovely picture, glad to see you out enjoying your new toy. I hope you have loads of nice days out like your first. We have just come back from a 120 mile run out in our +4 ( same colour as yours ) with no hood or side screens, well it's the law isn't it? Brilliant day, wonderful sunset, life just doesn't get any better than this as long as I keep taking the pills !! Reg
