I had the same issue with the heat shields and the factory now have a new mounting system which retains them. More on

Alternativly, there are 2 M3Ws in Austria who's owners have fitted MMC Stage 1 with heatshields. They had to weld the screw holders onto the silencers and also construct a revised mounting bracket. I don't have thier details but Laurens should be able to put you in touch.

I would say the car is transformed with them - it is so much smoother and free reving - sounds good too!

It was my M3W they were going to take you out in and when they asked, I told them it was OK as long as they took full responsibility to repair or replace any damage that may occur while they were using it, and they didn't want that responsibility.

Wow i havent even bought the car and im getting told stories by the dealer....

I bought my Mog sight unseen, the dealer didn't even have their demo yet, I just had the forums a few articles and a few videos on youtube to go on, and it was 100% worth it. The dealership has always been easy to work with and they were probably just trying to cover their asses.

My Morgan is at the dealership currently, I will get a chance to install them within the next week or so, but for £10 they look like they will do the trick.

I installed mine last evening as it happens. Getting the little circlips off the fasteners is a bit of a chore, but once all back together they work really well. What a terribly simple and effective solution, I must say.

Any tips re the circlips appreciated - I dont get on with circlips - they usually spring off to the far side of the garage never to be found again.
