And congratulations the first 18yrs are the worst  I'm not entirely convinced that's true. Mine got a lot more expensive to run beyond mid twenties and seems to be peaking in early thirties. I tend to agree... Ours are 27 and 30 next year and the older one is just about financially secure...but the second one is buying a house! That won't end cheaply for the bank of Mummy and Daddy, I'm sure. Simple message: kids eat you out of house and home till they leave, then they lean on you for financial support and when you die they take what is left (if any). BUT who would be without them? We wouldn't.

We had twin boys in July so will hopefully get them out in the Morgan next year when they can use the forward facing car seats.
Does anyone know of any that fit the rear seats in a 4 seater.. I currently have factory fitted 3 point seat belts, it’s a 1996 car so bench seat.
When I was wee my dad had a one with harness that bolted to the chassis but I doubt you get those anymore..

outfit sounds pretty helpful with the offer of advise if you let them have your vehicle details so maybe worth a call.. StewartS on here had his first 4 seater when one of his lads was still quite young so he maybe has firsthand knowledge of these. When I had my Scimitar GTE I had to fabricate and mount my own back in 1978, it was a Britax and required a four point fixing hopefully it won't come to that for you and a three point work around is available.

We have two child seats for our granddaughters for use in our 1985 4 seater.
Both the seat and child are retained by the factory fit static seat belts, with an "Impact shield" in front of the child.
The seats are "Cybex Gold" and "Kiddy Phoenixfix Pro 2", both very similar & suitable for children 9 to 18kg.
This type of seat is not easy to get hold of, hence us having two different seats - at least you have started looking in plenty of time!
We also bought "Nuoman" toddler size bicycle helmets with visors, for use when running without a hood.

I got brought home from hospital as a new born on my Mums knee in the Morgan during a snowy April in 1978.
Midwife wasnt best pleased but Matron found a few extra blankets so I was all nice and comfy.

I remember bringing my son home 24.9 years ago. A nurse came out with you and if she didn't like the quality or fitting of the baby seat you were not allowed to take the baby home, I heard a local garage with a woman who fitted baby seats made a fortune. I had a Mazda MX5 and Ford Falcon at the time and didn't even consider trying the MX5, I am sure the nurse would not have allowed it.
I remember walking out and she asked about the seat while walking, I told her it should be fine, we borrowed it off my brother in law, only 5 years old and I fitted it with no issues this morning, her gruff reply was "I doubt you will be taking the baby, I have never seen a man fit a seat properly yet", she changed her mind when she saw it and said, "hmm you did a good job".
