Morgan M4L

In line with Morgan naming convention. This is Morgan M4L .
He is also leaky, noisy and gets a lot of attention.
Have a great Christmas and a Happy New Year

Looks much younger than Erba

She is 17 years old and now getting very leaky. In her younger days she was a real petrol head and loves going anywhere in the car.

Blimey Peter, that makes her 119 years in equivalent human years. Positively vintage. merry Christmas. wine

Wow.. That is some age. Morgan M4L (his actual kennel club name) is only 16 weeks old. I was told they live a long time. Going to cost me a fortune in chewed
slippers 😊

They are a breed with loads of character, not particularly obedient though. They really think they are part of the family and want to always sleep near you if not actually in the bed and under the covers!!!

I don't know about Morgan but ours used to love going in the car and if anyone came anywhere near the car she would go berserk.

It took about a year to get Erba to stop chewing up all Francesca's soft toys and she did some serious damage to wooden table legs.

We have a friend who had a bassotto, as they are called in Italian. She was in a bistro in a mountain village and suddenly became aware that the dog was chewing the wooden leg of a guy sitting at the next table. It was a leg turned up out of a piece of wood, not a modern prosthetic, and it being chewed by the dog caused a huge amount of hilarity and cost her a round of drinks. The owner of the leg laughed and said not to worry he would turn up a new one the next day.

We had a dachshund when I was growing up. Smooth red. Bought it in Germany when I was a toddler.

I used to have to pick up my dad from the office, if I wanted the family car.

My dad was a Colonel in the Army. He had a big fancy office with a fancy desk with a closed in front. The type you can't see the person's legs. He routinely took the dog to work. I remember him chewing out some young troop in his office.

Knowing my Dad was upset, the dog accompanied the beratement with a low volume growl from underneath the desk.

The look on the soldier's face was one of sheer disbelief and terror.

Great Dogs,

Mark

I recognise all those attributes even in the short time we've had him.
He may be called Morgan but he is definitely German
