Until a couple of days ago, nobody had heard of Croston.
Now it needs a tourist information centre.

Interesting Croston facts - the name means 'cross town' and it's one of the few places in Great Britain to have a name that is unique It's also one of the earliest settlements in Lancashire and it's mentioned in The Doomsday Book There are reportedly 4 Morgans in the village including mine although I've only seen one other

God forbid there should be any more incidents you need a plan on how to get the Morgan upstairs.

God forbid there should be any more incidents you need a plan on how to get the Morgan upstairs. A set of lifeboat davits fixed to the house roof, on which you can suspend the Morgan in such emergencies?

Seems to me that as they are made out of wood (everyone knows that ) All you need to do is strap an evinrude on the luggage rack and motor away......... simples. Maybe catch some fish in passing.

Park it on top of a raft with 2 tons displacement (about 7' x 14' x 1' should do it)  That should work if the garage ceiling is high enough

Hi Stewart,
Just catching up with the news and saddened by your situation. This happened to a friend of mine in Corbridge, Northumberland just before Christmas and I'm pleased to say his family are safe and well, although have moved into temporary accommodation for remedial works to be carried out. He doesn't have a Morgan which is an additional concern you have but come the spring, he won't have the pleasure!
I hope this new storm diminishes quickly and that you are able to celebrate the New Year in a suitable way?
Fingers crossed for you, you have certainly got a lot of well wishers. I was going to post a question about a badly fitting luggage rack but I think I will leave that for another day.
