Needed petrol in the Mog this afternoon - the nearest decent filling station is in the next village 2.5 miles away. The sun was shining. Set off into the vale of Belvoir for a tour round, back via aged parents for a cuppa (pleased I put the hood up when we parked - it was very wet on the next leg) and a full tank. 47 miles total - very pleasant. Cobwebs well and truly blown away.

Now drinking something fizzy.

Oh yes: 4 hours in the teeth of the Monsoon.
Biscester and Back!
Morgan wipers work quite well as does the heated screen.
Now, how to defug the rear window?

Now all I have to do is wash it.

Peter,
same journey but only 45 mins each way for me.
Hood seam over the header rail developed a leak & deposited cold water down the back of the neck on sharp right handers.
But no water under the dash & the car ran faultlessly.

Just off to reseal the hood seams!

Why is it that every time I go to Bicester it chucks it down ? Still the event was very interesting with lots to see and the sound of a tuned duratec with pops and bangs is never dull !

I hit the bacon butty queue! Should have arrived earlier. Very wet drive down the M40....the only leaks were a drip from the header rail and a load deposited on me from the other side of the header rail when I went round a roundabout!
Nothing on the way back but driving a tad slower! The problem on the return...via a rather nice pub just outside Witney..were the massive speed bumps entering some villages and a lot of surface water.
