3 hours each way to Biscester.
Overdue long run.
Nice to meet some new faces too.
I refrained from a bacon butty but was tempted by a cheese and ham toastie.
Only water issues were some drips from the hood frame as the seam there is tight and stretched. Seam sealer should cure that.
An interesting venue...some great cars there too in the various restorers garages.
Dad's Army were excellent security too..

Yes that is a good outlook, used to keep my boat down the bottom there for a time.Remember trying to escape the harbour when the tuna came and hole area was covered in little boats trailing wire fishing lines.
enjoy driving you have the best weather in Europe just now.

Yes, took the 38 Series 1 4/4 DHC around the block. Short trip today though. The weather here in Florida is unseasonably cool and the DHC likes it cool, with only the thermosyphon cooling to push the water around. I will eventually fit an electric water pump, but that's a job for a later date.

I felt I deserved a Morgan drive after washing the two tin tops. I may have to take another Morgan out just to be sure I have rewarded myself enough.

Cheers,

Believe it or not weve had sunshine and blue sky today so we left early over the mountains to see the bleeding yew tree at Nevern, and a spot of lunch at the golf club at Newport Pembs. We braved flood mud gravel and a lot of slurry(cow dermot to you city folk)the car now resembles a south african safari rally car but so nice to be out all day with the top down.

The first dry day in over two months.
Car started up and run for 30mins in the garage
I didn't intend to let my tyres down to operating pressures nor drive on the wet and very muddy lanes around here.
Morgan cleaned and all wrapped up in its covers again flag
