Any chance of a pic with the heat shield removed ?

I don't really want to take them off but here are a couple of pics of the top mount. The bottom is pretty difficult to see but is a similar bracket which looks separate to the main exhaust mount.

The heatshield is now fitted to brackets on the body rather than to the exhaust. This seems a much better idea as it reduces the weight of the exhaust on the (new heavy duty) bobbins.

You can see the top mount (on the RHS) in this one:

And this shows how the top bolts are inboard of the exhaust:

Weather permitting I plan to bring it along to the TM Morgan gathering on the 30th Jan.

Thank Chris , seeing them I understand why you dont want to take them off there being more to it than the standard exhaust.

With my grandson taking an interest recently I need to do something in this area for protection , mine dont have any fittings to attach the heat shields.

I am considering using a large jubilee clip with threaded bushes welded on to emulate the original method , but we will see.

I took an hour and cleared all the snow from my driveway for the delivery and the Morgan went about 10 feet in reverse from the trailer to the garage.

I know about the storm too. I was born and raised in Michigan. Our two families were from Clare and the Farwell area in Mid Michigan.

The wife and I always come up over the holidays to spend time with my brother and our family in the Clare area. We left for St Louis MO on Monday morning and about Dewitt we started to run into sleet and rain. It was around 27 degrees and raining. We got to warmer temps around Fort Wayne and then on to St Louis it was just raining off and on.

I-70 was flooded in three spots on the western side of IL and we had to take a detour for about 20 miles.

We're not in any of the flooding areas, but our sump pump is running every 30 seconds or so.

We left for KC yesterday and we watched the news last night and we saw houses floating down the Merrimac river. It's really bad in the southern St Louis area.

Hope you have some good days to try out the Stage 1 kit soon.

Drive safe and enjoy.

More snow last night and more expected tonight. My review may be weeks, if not months off. Gives me time to work on my revised rear mud guard though.

Does anyone have an idea what the actual HP and torque gains are from upgrading to Morgans stage 1 kit? I know I will be asked this.

Pretty much the same as the G56 kit I'd suggest, ie: loads! G56 tested graph below;
