I've wanted to get this off my chest for a while so here's my top 3 annoying things about modern cars (which most of us have to drive in the real world):
1. Wheels that are too big - the wheel size only has to be big enough for the brake disc. Larger wheels and hence smaller sidewalls are unnecessary, noisier, easier to 'kerb', give a hasher ride and are more expensive to replace. And what's more, the higher the spec of car you want, the larger the wheels are!!!
2. Privacy glass - what's that about?????? Buy a van!!
3. 'tablet' infotainment displays - look like an afterthought, look like they should be removable but aren't (generally), and represent lazy interior design.
Have I missed anything?

Volkswagen again:
Active Cruise Control - the active feature renders it unusable in the real world, and can't be switched off
Touch-sensitive screen - dials random people when the phone is used
Lap-timer - pages of instructions on how to use it....followed by the admonition not to use it while moving!

Privacy glass -- very useful for drug dealers (BMW salesman a bit pissed off when I turned down the option).
Other annoying things (rant on its way): pinging seat belt warning, automatic wipers, no CD player, auto headlights, STOP START CRAP, particulate filters, clogging PCV systems -- the list goes on.

Paddle shift autoboxes which STILL change up early even if you select manual/sport mode. Just sold my otherwise brilliant Mercedes AMG A45 because I couldn't get used to the robot fighting me for control.

Invisible and inaudible indicator warning lights/beeper. Idiotic positioning of the speedometer for those of us living in a country where entrapment of motorists is a major source of revenue. Seat belt warning chimes. Sadly, all of these are on a Morgan! Don.

Chaps, I would say that between you all the things we hate about modern cars have been covered. The only question is that, given we all own the most fun car in the world, why do we buy cars with all the things we hate? If our modern cars are just a practical alternative to the bus, train etc then why don't we buy the most basic, simple car in the cheapest range of cars available. I don't know what that would be but it would possibly come from the far east or E.Europe.
Here for a good time not a long time!! Reg
