Our filter is not oil covered which as said is an advantage As you perhaps have seen, Lawrie, I have a custom made (LHD) manifold for my 4/4. Now I'm very interested in your soon to be launched 4/4 intake system to complete my little car.

We at Williams teamed up with ITG and developed a complete air filter induction kit. We also manufacture a complete exhaust system and including if you want a sports cat and new 4 branch manifold Is the kit now available Lawrie? Yes the GDI kit is avaliable, along with the exhausts. I was afraid you might say that..   Ha! Look into the eyes, Steve..

Great answers as always, thanks everyone. Its as I expected - don't change it, wait for warranty to run out, save some pennies and fit the Williams GDi Kit which has had some excellent results.
As an aside Ill see a few of you at the MMC day, I'm one of the factory tour guides. Don't expect insider info though - we are all sworn to secrecy of what goes on inside those hallowed buildings....

Just an update...
There is a correct filter, its specified for the engine, ref Ford AV61-9601-AE, number for K+N is E-2993
