Love the look of the car but I could not live with those seats, just my opinion of course but they have a totally different look to the rest of the car, are they all like that? Looks a good buy for someone in the market for one though. I agree the wheels really set it off.

agree the seats don't blend into a "trad" look...but , hey, just imho... i go further, those wheels also don't .sorry.
if wire wheels are not suitable ( torque ? ) i found the alu "steel" copys the max !

Looks wise I agree on the seats. However I know from my Caterham days that seated on Tillets, you feel much more a part of the car - and as a result it becomes a far more engaging drive. At the end of the day, its down to personal choice and priorities.
That said, nice spec.

Nearest Plus 8 contender for The R100 Follow on. 
Interestingly, back when the debate about the excess BMW engines was in full swing, I said to Julian at SGT that MMC should use some to re create the TOK Le Mans car.
Just needs a White Hard Top and its almost there.

Frank,
a good quality "Winter Hardtop" with heated rear screen would make the Plus 8 a true all weather car.
I share your view that the Tillet Seats are possibly a bit modern looking, but I'm assured by those who have them that they are very, very comfortable.
Tarka has standard high back Aero seats. I'm sure that a deal could be done swapping the very costly Tillets with standard Aero seats!

Lovely looking car  ! Incidentally, do all Aero Plus 8s have the speedo and rev counter in the middle like the Roadster 3.7? I much prefer them in front of me as on the Aero S3.
