Sorry, its 312, 500 tonnes dead weight. With 22, 000 tonnes of equpment on board. its 90, 000 tonnes light ship weight. (i think)
Yeah shell had it comissioned to be built to do all the work in their field off the Niger Delta.

Anyway, we're getting along way off the Simmonds Hood topic here!  Graham isn't that one of the wonderful aspects of Talk Morgan: the conversational aspect to it.  Come on guys none of this pointelss chatter  back on topic, lets all have a big debate....... Ah sod it. Actually love the chitter chatter.  After watching a television program about piracy in the Nigerian Delta, I was quite surprised at the fearless tactics of the pirates. Perhaps it is a matter of having little to loose and much to gain.
I saw that programme. Frightening wasn't it. But, If you look really closely at the Pirate leader, the shortish nasty looking one with the mask and Gingery/grey beard beneath  , if you look closely you can just see an Aeromax key and a Porsche 997 key dangling in his top pocket. That tells you something.......

Yeah shell had it comissioned to be built to do all the work in their field off the Niger Delta. Interesting multi-role vessel then - even if a bit smaller than the 1300Ft 1/2inch length overall (the 1/2" is most important of course!) ulcc I was on. Can't remember the beam I'm afraid, should have made more notes at the time! Missed the piracy programme - having suffered with the b*stards in more than one location I can visualise some of it anyway. Mind, the Nigerian security guards weren't much safer!
