Jnr informs me she got out late and had to make a long detour home due to the frost and ice . While heading down from Sedgefield to Hartlepool so she could turn North on the A 19 . An Audi shot past at 80 mph took out 3 bollards and crashed into the roundabout . She was stuck for two hours . So took her boots off and just sat with the heater on her feet . Had her tea in MacDonalds . Not to happy with the fool in the crashed car .

John, they say that in some areas 1 in 4 is sniffing cocain. I don't think you are, I very much doubt your wife is, and I don't think it is your daughter. So the guy in the Audi was probably hopped up to the eyeballs!

What is it about Audi drivers these days? I'm sure there must be some decent Audi drivers, and no doubt on TM too, but they're getting harder to find. Even thought we have a TT in our fleet it seems to be the saloons particularly that are driven by complete morons. I used to have Audi saloons myself years ago but they were a better class of driver then!

Since cut cocain supply I did not cause any accident with my Audi Q5. But even without accidents it is a German diesel SUV, a black mean machine...

I drove Audis for a number of years too. In those days it was the BMWs to watch out for. Perhaps the Audi has become the make of choice for company cars?

Audi sports saloon became the new BMW several years ago (according to Clarkson - and in this case he may well be right!). Unfortunately cars are too safe nowadays to stop idiots like this devaluing the gene pool...

Regarding bad drivers and car brands I must tell you what a salesman told me last year whilst test driving a new 5 series bmw and I quote , bmw driivers have a reputation for selfish driving but this is unfair it's just because the bmw has better dynamics and can handle the road better than other cars which makes the driver more confidant, ...... I think I may keep a book of classic salesman quotes.

I hope the salesman was wearing Wellington Boots at the time? Must have smelled a bit in the car!
