Please keep this thread going. Very interesting for Me who witnessed a lot of Morgan Racing in the late 1950's and early 1960's. It was the days of Airport Racing with the race cars driven to the track and raced.

Recently I attended the Dutch 40th Anniversary at Assen, Holland. Kieth Ahlers and Billie Berringer (I know Kieth from MOA III) put on a great exhibition of Modern Morgan Racing. For My friend Loretta and I it was very exciting. Also Bill Turr's ethanol trike. WOW!!!

Pacific Northwest - very little Morgan racing anymore.

Button.I think you would really like the Goodwood revival and see the cars from your era being driven the way they were meant too.Its a really great weekend,I must admit the cheque book racing that goes on these days leave me a bit cold.Having said that the starting grid at Goodwood is worth millions.

I did get to Goodwood the year of the 50th at LeMans. It was not the Goodwood Revival. Traffic from Southampton to Goodwood was horrific. They were doing hillclimbs. It was interesting but one day was enough. Spent the next day at Portsmouth Royal Naval Museum and learned more about Lord Nelson.

A huge parcel arrived today.

Another brand new set of WIlliams designed aluminium split rim wheels machined out of a block of billet!!!!!!

So Frankie now has 2 sets of these wheels. Time for dry and wet tyre sets.

Now we can definitely have a good set up in majority of racing conditions. This lesson was learnt and needed to be rectified this year, from what happened at brands last year in the rain.
