Ha just like the mk2 cortina's GT/E/lotus. Perfect dash layout.

Ah, yes, but even then Ford had a huuuuge R & D budget, Morgans must be minuscule by comparison, so, now wonder it is more important it looks right than actually works.

Back to my earlier question about depreciation of the AR P4, would anyone car to take a guess at its' value after, say 2 years, taking a reasonably well spec'd car at around £60,000 on the road, as the starting cost?

I agree Dave, but I would go further and say that the dash top in front front of the driver needs to be redesigned to go up in a slight hump, or even a double hump such as the new Aero 8.

This style I would like!!!

Fully agree Peter & Dave. The one great frustration with Henrietta is that i have to remember what revs correspond to 30/40/50/60/70 mph in 3rd, 4th & 5th as i cannot see the speedo needle easily during the hours of darkness (and I do a lot of my driving then).

I simply cannot see why the speedo is not in front of the driver and rev counter off to one side - ok for a proper racer like the Baby Doll, but not for an "everyday" car like the 4/4?

And i LOVE that Aero 8 dash.

Have a word with Steve, chaps, when you visit en-masse.

Cheers

Jeremy,
Swapping the rev counter and speedo around is less than an hour job!! I have done it and actually have the speedo in front of me, the rev counter next to the left and the multi-guage furthest left. While I cannot see the rev counter needle if it is past 5K revs, that doesn't matter as the engine noise then tells all!!!!!

It just takes dropping the dash (remove the under dash cover and then the 3 dash screws) the speedo and rev counter are held by brackets with a thumb screw) - just swap them around!

Cheers!
