Sorry you see it that way. I have been drawn into a conversation i did not intend. All i wanted to ask is " if anyone had used or considered using Evans waterless coolant" and if so "any comments" i can only repeat this request. If it is not relevant to other Morgan owners then i will look elsewhere for info.

Ken. There is such a wealth of knowledge on this forum from many people I highly respect and many people who I have got to meet and count as friends. This forum is so much more than and an encyclopaedia of answers to problems with a Morgan and the answers will become apparent it barging through the virtual pub door shouting and screaming won't win you many friends and helpful answers. Sit back and relax.

I never intended to be anything but interested in Morgan's matters, my responses to some of the negative comments are justified by the need for information required to maintain my Plus 8. I am concerned that such a request can be hijacked by others with a different agenda.

Not intended but i have been provoked by some very silly responses. All i was seeking was info/suggestions. Some of them very useful.

Despite not being unbiased I found the link helpful. For example it is the corrosion protection that is lost if any water remains in the system. It also appears that the engine runs hotter with the Evans than with normal antifreeze.

I looked at waterless coolant and looked at water wetter but in the end decided to tey and sort the cooling properly. First will be a new electric fan and relay to supply it.

Ken: I don't know what experience you have had on forums, but a good rule of thumb is would I say this to the face of the person to whom I'm posting this reply. If the answer is No, don't post it.

I consider your comment above to be completely gratuitous, Simon who owns the site, spends a considerable amount of time and his own money, and has created with some help from others and especially the posters on it, a rather special virtual Morgan 'pub'. Like any pub it has it's mores and regulars and it pays to spend time understanding how the dynamic works.

As a start have you read the "Forum Help" above and in particular 'What are the rules of conduct for this forum?'. If you haven't please do so and then try and enjoy what imho is the friendliest and most helpful Morgan forum. Thank you.

No intention to upset anyone, i am just frustrated that a simple question about cooling ends up with talk about Milk!!??
