No problem you recommending a supplier.
It's when the supplier uses the forum to advertise that is "off"...
Cain's products have a number of recommendations on here - probably started with bonnet stays thumbs

Yes I have.. Wandered into the garage today and after some weeks of no driving due to a combination of work and awful weather I felt things were beginning to seize up.. ( both me and the car) so had an hours blast before the afternoon sun went altogether.. Nice to be out and about again drive

Frustrated, as doing a small bodywork repair at the moment, so the 4/4 stays in my garage until complete.

Strange problem: There had always been a small paint run just below the passenger door. However in recent weeks it has become obvious that there was a small amount oxidation going on in that area.
I have carefully removed the paint from the area; spent some time rubbing the area down (approx. 8mm x 18mm) and have now applied 2 coats of zinc primer. Next is to rub down again (800 grit) before applying the finish coats over the next few days.
The aluminium had oxidised and scabbed in the effected area, this was midway between the beading and the sill.
confused2
