Perhaps it was dawning on him what a bunch of weirdos we all are! You paint yourself blue and then call us a bunch of weirdos!!! I think I'll leave now and just make myself a glass of warm milk with a little honey (and perhaps, since I am now all grown up, a little brandy).
300ml whole milk
1 tbsp brandy
½ tsp honey
A small piece of mace
Nutmeg
1 Pour the milk and brandy into a small pan and add the honey and mace. Place over a very low heat.
2 Gently heat, stirring, for a couple of minutes until the milk is just starting to steam. Remove from the heat and fish out the mace.
3 Pour into a mug and grate a little nutmeg over the top. Crawl under blankets on the sofa and sip until sleepy. A second dose may be required.
