Thanks for sharing. It is fab to see such a wonderful car travelling all the way home from Japan. I missed seeing that one Saturday as the concourse cars seemed to be scattered and tucked away in odd places, probably due to the inclement weather.

I missed seeing that one Saturday as the concourse cars seemed to be scattered and tucked away in odd places, probably due to the inclement weather. The Concours judging was on the Saturday Frank, Aero's and Flat Rads in the morning and all the other cars (MTW's, etc) in the afternoon. Hence, not all the Concours cars were together in one place for very long. We did have some light rain, but managed not to be out in the open for most of it.

Our mistake Brian, was not to stay over on Friday to be there nice and early and not to book for the Dinner and Sunday as well. We watched some Three Wheelers in the afternoon and found 000 parked at the top end of the stand in the nice and dry. Not to worry, It was a great show. Spent what was left of the Morning tracking down old schoolmate and Dave W. We soon realised it was impossible to be every where at the same time so wandered about sucking up the atmoshere while we viewed all of the exhibits in no particular order.
Meeting the Japanese owner, Nick, was a Rare Opportunity. I wonder if he is a Talk Morgan member here? It was great to find a Centenary Card Signed by Chairman Takashi Katayama and Sticker From the MSCC Japan in The Goody Bag I picked up at Beaulieu. I am not sure if everyone received one

Sorry to miss you on this occasion Frank, but thanks for tracking down the Max. We did try and keep the cars out of the worst of the rain before the judging, not completely successful I might add. It's a shame that you missed the Gala Dinner, but glad you enjoyed the other Saturday events. Next year the annual Mog event reverts to the MSCC and I think will be in Derby. Cheers Brian P.S. Like you I loved the Japanese sticker and card. A very nice touch from the Japanese Morgan Club.

MOGmmx, Buxton 18 to 20 June 2010. Friday night buffet and Saturday dinner at Barcelo Palace Hotel, according to August Miscellany, so that might be considered the 'centre' of the event. Barcelo now full, by the way.
