Peter, this is probably a longshot given the mileage you do in yours, but i had this happen to me in mine and after much to-ing and fro-ing, it turned out to be battery related. Basically, after a few days (less than a week) with the battery connected and not started, the engine would turn over and start perfectly happily, but the system recorded a 'low voltage alert' and the light came on. Simple as that. I used the immobiliser after that and it never happened again. Hope this helps. Chris

Chris,

with hte amount of electronics on the car it is certainly a possibility: the car is now at the factory to have the "Aeroman Roll Bar" fitted and the MIL Light issue will be investigated at the same time, along with a couple of other niggles.
