Many a true word said in jest!

They are the most stolen vehicle in the UK after the Transit van. My LR110 has a X-Eng footbox, an electric isolator switch, (Morgan red key!) and a cheap tracker, as I would be as sick as a parrot if it was stolen.

My 1991 LR90 2.5NA theft prevention is based around no battery and no floor - the bulkhead needs changing, so it is coming apart!

Didn't realise they were that popular to half inch

We appear to have gained 2 on our drive in the last month

My Woman bought one of the very last Adventurers and my nipper has just bought a 110 Pick up

I'll have to get some kind of cut out at least.....I'm not buying yet another tracker with subs

I had a LWB SW in the same colour Paul, bought from almost new, to me it was a nice retro colour especially with the roof colour coded. I had it for seven years as a second car to a Discovery 3. I sold it to a LR dealer friend and lost little money, due mainly because of the low mileage and mint condition. I do miss it even if it was an old design. I'm interested to see what the new Defender will be like although I'm not sure it will have the same following and be as iconic as the old Defender.

Brilliant! Obviously written by someone who is familiar with the door-lock dance.

It's Keswick Green John - I think green the right colour for any Landy!
I'm sure the second hand value of the later Puma models in particular will rise when production ends - I hope so anyway!!

Yes that's right Paul Keswick green, I think one of the best colours for a Defender. I think you are right values for good ones will rise now UK production is ending. I do wish I could have kept mine but I had to rationalise the fleet and the Discovery 3 was a tad more practical and Barbara found the Defender a bit of a handful.
