+1 - well done Peter and Adrian too, MSCC still has much goodwill and hopefully it will find a successful way forward, not easy but with the right people in charge very doable! cheers flag

Peter

It was good to talk to you on our trip around the factory on Saturday. I could sense your excitement and optimism about the future of the MSCC, and I think you could be the man to move it into the 21st century.
It's a tricky job, inclusivity is the word. Finding a position for the club that both older and newer members are comfortable with. Modernise and update…..and….. retain the history and tradition. The factory have similar issues I think.

I was pleased to hear your 'man maths' on the subject of new cars. When it comes to justifying new cars to ourselves and SHMBO, 2+2 can add up to what ever number needs to be arrived at!!! Your 'michelin meal' meetings sounds like a plan as well!!!!

GOOD LUCK.

Peter - I should know this ....but when does your Chairmanship start - or is it now underway??

Just so that I can genuflect when we meet!!!! laugh2

I will, assuming the AGM Votes me in, become Chairman at the 2017 AGM.
I'll follow Peter C, whi is doing one hell of a job, so with luck ! should have an easy ride.... hide

Genuflection is not needed...unwelcome possibly, but this is always welcome! wine

I agree 100%!!
When I read for pleasure I like paper and colour pictures.
When I read to capture information I prefer an electronic format.

SO...we may make Miscellany available electronically for those that want it, especially those overseas where postage costs are becomming crippling, I don't see the club moving to all electronic.

As the website capability evolves we may also try migrating some of the information stuff to the website, sending it out as a 1 page e-info sheet, possibly.

That would make it possible to expand the "good read" bit of the magazine - all we need are authors!!

All very encouraging, Peter and Adrian. Thank you for your efforts. I enjoy MSCC for Miscellany, Mog Mag electronically, and TM in any shape or form.
Saturday's trip to Malvern was a great day out in every way and epitomised TM and the spirit of Morgan, and ended with a sunlit top down drive home. Perfect! wine

Really well done chaps -- really agree that inclusivity is the way to go - as is said many times on this forum, we should embrace all shades of opinion - we don't need to agree, just accept other's point of view!

Cheers!

I'm not going to report on the meeting, that will be done in the usual way. But I do want to tell you all, members and nonmembers, that the discussion after lunch was positive, mature and thoughtful and the Centre Secretaries voted through (without any opposition) a resolution that has the potential to totally transform the way the club is run, taking it into the 21st Century. It made me proud to be part of the Management Team.

A significant part of the transformation will be the new website that the new Webmaster
is developing.

Who is this genius? Our very own Adrian.

BUT the changes will be far more reaching and fundamental. I'm excited. So if any of you have been thinking of leaving then can I ask you to give us a year to see what happens?

And to those uncertain about joining, please take the plunge. The Club needs the TM Mentality!!

Enough: this is not part of MSCC, and it shouldn't be, but it is a part of the greater Morgan community and just as important as the MSCC.

Looks like there's been a special Morgan wand been waved over this last weekend! Didn't see that one coming - well done Adrian and good luck. I'm sure you will make a big impact with your skills.

Great to hear Peter it's been such a positive meeting and I'm sure we all look forward to seeing the outcome of this in due course.
