We acquired a cute little Cockapoo puppy just before Christmas. It was discussed, had been for a while, it was agreed our overseas trips would need to be curtailed in favour of UK road trips with faithful friend. No problem from where I was sitting, dreams of me and Dog, in the Mog, complete with 'Doggles' and his spaniel ears blowing in the wind, touring the country.....however, now seems that Mrs Tuftie expects to come too.....only two seats in a Plus 4 ........

Our poor old dachshund loves to come in the Mog and sits on Mrs G's lap. She, the dog that is, is a real petrol head and has always been up for a car ride. Unfortunately she has just passed her 17th birthday and her health is failing frown I suspect her car ride days are numbered.

I'd love the opportunity to get Stringer out with me in the Mogster, but he's not that daft.. I can get him in with the engine off, mainly because of the bits of sausage I tempt him with, but any sign of reaching for the keys and I get the 'don't you dare' stare, shortly followed by a quick cockpit exit..

I used to have a Ural sidecar outfit, and we took him out in that for a walk a couple of fields away. He had a lead, and a chest harness and two hands on him, and he still thought it perfectly acceptable dog behaviour to stand up and try to chase any other dog we passed..

I keep trying, though. I think if I had a four wheeler with sidescreens I'd be more willing to risk it. On a three wheeler, one needs another pair of hands.

Mapman takes their JR terrier out with them, and she's perfectly happy. I get asbodog..

We have a Roadster 100 and our Cocker Spaniel Dizzy loves nothing more than a trip around the New Forest with her ears flapping in the wind.
She is on the passenger seat when I'm alone, or on the parcel shelf when accompanied by Nola.
It's great when you pull up at traffic lights in the villages, or parking up on the Forest, people just home in on you, then you get another opportunity to wax lyrical about the Morgan👍👍
It's a good life😎

Two Westies like my Plus 8. Due to my white hair though, I have received comments suggesting that it looks like three westies in the car and no driver.
