I do enjoy Miscellany and look forward to its arrival. I'm not in the market for another car myself, but I can see that late delivery can be an issue for anyone waiting to read the adverts.

I don't see Mogtalk as a feasible alternative though, it is horrendously out-of-date. Since its peak in 2009 the traffic there has been declining consistently by 33% a year, at that rate it won't exist at all in a couple more years.

Hopefully something that will be addressed by the MSCC IT review.

Does it really matter, or is this a pain free cost saving that could be made?

I'd be happy to wait a few days to save some club money.

Same with me a few days delay would not matter.( not arrived yet in Folkestone).

........ Of course, it arrived 10 minutes after I typed the post above ........

Mine arrived this morning too. Not had a chance to open it yet and wouldn't mind it being a day of two late if it saved money. I think as long as people know that it could be late and the reason why then I'm sure people would understand.

Re TNT.....push them for a refund/discount on next delivery. I used them for work stuff and any lates resulted in free deliveries or money off. Also used DHL and CityLink, depending on what items/where to as they had varying rates.
May help with MSCC costs!

Could we have a poll on this? Peter could mention it at his next meeting.

Good point - mine's not arrived yet either

It always makes me chuckle when I read the bit at the front that says something like 'if your copy hasn't arrived this month, please contact....'

How would you know ?!!

My copy has just arrived.

I agree with previous posts, if the club pays extra for 1st of the month delivery they should claim a refund for February.
