Calum how is that your car always looks clean in your photos? Do you have a cleaning kit with you? On Aberdeenshire roads in January/February I dont have to go far to get a clean car dirty. I would also like info on your heated socks & gloves.

Photoshop! Seriously it's mainly that red is quite good at not showing the crud plus not actually filling the frame with the car so the crud isn't so obvious on a second count.
The
heated gloves are from Gerbings - the ones I have seem to have been superceded but can also be run from small Li-ion batteries that fit into the cuffs as well as the car's 12V supply.
The controller I use is a
Gerbings unit.
The socks I use came from
Heated Clothing Outlet . I also have a pair of the trouser liners from them which are very good but I find them too warm as a rule so they haven't been used for a while.
I have had issues with other Gerbings controllers and their 12V socks and have not been impressed with their customer service but have continued to use the bits that work (so far anyway) while I have no experience of the controllers from the outlet place I've heard that they are good.
Keis clothing is also supposed to be good. There does seem to be a lot of cross compatibility between different brands, one could be forgiven for thinking that a surprising amount of this equipment comes from the same very few factories in China via AliBaba.com. Everything from all of them seem to connect together with the same 2.5x5.5mm plug and socket.
