Well i'm rather looking forward to watching it again, after having switched off for several years.
But then I do like yellow cars….

Premature doom and gloom, assumptions about what we will get. I will wait to see it and judge then. It will be a mistake to try to keep to the old 3 Stooges style and format so I am just waiting for the first few episodes to unfold and develope. The old version had gone the distance a while ago and seemed to be struggling to keep going, resulting in more silliness creeping in. There were some great bits but too few. Roll on new Top Gear...let's see what you can do.

My take on this is wait and see. When Chris Evans too on the job after Sir Terry there was much discussion on his skills to do better. History says he has done better. I live in hope of a better Top Gear under his control.

The papers are naming Eddie Jordan as the third presenter (although it's probably the same papers who have got all the other names wrong).
I'm not pre-judging either. The last iteration of Top Gear was not well received when it started, it took a couple of series to get going.

Well I'm looking forward to it....if only to see how the new presenters and first plays out. Just wish they hadn't kept Stig.....it needs to be completely refreshed.

Just wish they hadn't kept Stig.....it needs to be completely refreshed. I don't know - revamp Stig to "Stig of the dump" - a form of scrapheap challenge...

The old Top Gear worked because it was not the old-old Top Gear (and the same for Strictly Come Dancing etc.).
I might argue that the old Top Gear worked because of chemistry and not content at times.
This might work - who knows.

+1 in the wait and see camp.
I suspect there's a lot of speculation and rumour being reported.
Matt Le Blanc I think will be good and I hope Chris "Monkey" Harris is also part of the mix.
One thing is certain, it will be different to "old TG"
