One to watch out for. Very easy to crack your mudguard stay. There is not alot of meat and the paint is rubbish.
Will be welding these mods in place. Thinking of buying a tig welder. Any thoughts

Hi Guys
I have 18000 miles on the old girl.
Its a combination of crap metal and vibration coupled with maybe me having over tightening them. The bolts only need the slack taken up really. There are three big bolts holding the bulk of the mudgard in place.
The whole mudguard assembly is very badly engineered. There apears to be no quality control on what presumably are contracted out items.

As Scott says, we had a lower stay crack on the way to the TalkMorgan event last week with 8k miles on the car.

Talking of which - and apologies if I've missed a post - but has there been a brief summary of the MMC/TM event as yet? Was it useful and did anyone learn anything dead exciting? I couldn't attend as I was busy, but would have done had I not have been :-) Thanks.
