is there any replacement aviable for the heating valve for a +8 from 76? Manuel

Have you looked on eBay? Search for "TX1, classic kit car heater control valve" It is not identical to the original fitment but will probably work satisfactorily. Alternatively, you could use a domestic plumbing 15mm isolation valve (referred in the UK as Ballofix) although this would then be only manual in operation rather than by cable to the steering column. I hope that this helps.

I know the founder of that business Richard. Tony Stafford was the chief buyer for Reliant Motor Co and ran a concours MG TF (1953). He sold the company on a few years ago. He had some really good contacts in the trade.

Best one I could source. I had the original MMC one on back order for a while and BHM gave up and had that fabricated and supplied it to me (I think from Peter Mulberry). Works well and looks quite smart.
