“Norway Travel Kit” #4
Here some examples from the modifications I made the last days before our trip through Norway last June.
Part four: I was looking for a neat docking station for my bike sat nav and also for a possibility to fix the phone in a good looking position.
So I made a docking station with a universal adapter to fix both: The Sat cradle and the phone cradle.
Both take only seconds to attach on my holder. And the holder is also installed in one second.

Richard you are right!
I have changed the "Dot" with a "Tenax fastener".
The "Lift dots" dont fit verry good with thicker material and for the Tenax I only had to drill one hole!

...but mine's welded to the screen frame so I am "stuck" (more or less) with lift dot. Perhaps I could bond a perspex (to which the suction cup could fit) to some leather that holds the lift dot.....ummm....

Is it posible to drill some small holes in a piece of plastic to fasten a DOT fastener?
I did not try it because I was in a hurry! ;-)

Yes that looks good. I just use the suction cup on the rev meter glass.
