“Norway Travel Kit” #4
Here some examples from the modifications I made the last days before our trip through Norway last June.
Part four: I was looking for a neat docking station for my bike sat nav and also for a possibility to fix the phone in a good looking position.
So I made a docking station with a universal adapter to fix both: The Sat cradle and the phone cradle.
Both take only seconds to attach on my holder. And the holder is also installed in one second.

Great post - I particularly like the phone/sat nav holder. Another one to add to the 'to do' list.

It look like you cannot see the warning lights or fuel gage & voltmeter with the mount in place. I'm not familiar with the car but would have looked to mount below the dash. It is neatly executed though.

Hello TimG
No Problems for me after 3000km (on my car!) ;-)
Sometimes I have to move the head a little bit, but I can always see the road and that is the important thing for me.
It is a LHD Car. Both mounting cradles (phone and Garmin) can be turned in different direktions (and complete 360!)
Otherwise I had the possibillity to fix the adaptor for the mounting cradles a little higher!
Most time I use the phone (also as sat nav). If I use the Phone it is turned horicontally!
Sorry about my english!
Regards Bernt

Can somebody enlighten me please?
My dash has a lift dot "stud" to which the tonneau (looking over my shoulder for the tonneau police) but the photos appear (?) to show a tennax fastener.
Does a tennax work on a tonneau stud?
