Nice drive from York to Seahouses in Northumberland today and back in the black 4/4 for fish and chips .....just because I can !!!!
Made the run on 97 octane fuel...suits the car well.
65 next month...these type of days are important while I can !!!
running out of things to buy/modify for the car !!!!

Glorious run from Salisbury to Sparkford, left at 08:30, no one about. Hood down, the car is running wonderfully: not sure why, but it feels as if it is hewn from solid!
The engine is smooth, there are no chassis rattles, no vibration, the steering wheel shows no shimmy or vagueness. It could almost be a modern car.... other than it is alive, it responds in an instant....
Good discussions with Adrian and others, reviewed progress with the new website, then home to cook brunch. a few drops of rain as I pulled into the drive.
Once again I was left feeling that there is no other car that could replace Tarka, or that I'd prefer to own.
But there are a few I'd like as well....!

I know exactly what you mean Peter, I still have a big healey on my list and this one is for sale.. Only problem is I would have to sell my Morgan to do it.. Not so easy!

Left home in the roadster from Rayleigh Essex, 50 mile drive to Marylebone central London to look at a job them return home, beautiful sunny morning drove along the embankment and up through trafalger square, had photo taken numerous times by Japanese tourists whilst sitting at traffic lights !.
