Thought I'd posted this - losing track, or the plot (anyone notice some marbles rolling past maybe I could have them returned? laugh2 ).
Taken on a slant to also show the top of the bonnet which is also raised very slightly, except that I took the shot from too low a stance. However, you'll get the idea I hope... smile

Now those extenders are interesting thank you Graham. It should be relatively easy to devise a system that will get fresh air through to the cockpit and only use the extenders on hotter days. This weekend, for example. the forecast is 34 deg C at home, an hour from the coast, and we plan to go along The Great Ocean Road in Western Victoria where it will be in the 20s, so using the extenders just to get south would work well.

You could use bonnet extenders and cut a couple of circular holes in the sides of the bulkhead to provide a direct fresh air supply into the footwells.

What a great run that would be in the Morgan. A good excuse for a crayfish lunch at the Apollo Bay Fishermen's Co-op eat

Nice bit of road if you can get a clear run, we took the Elise to SA via that route last year, most frustrating with grey nomads and tourists that don't care how many cars are banked up behind, they just won't give way. I was starting to think what a crap road it was, then I got past the last snail in front of me and got 15K of clear road, even at the posted 80k it's a lot of fun. smile

Enjoy the trip Jays - if you visit Tassie to let me know smile

i these have fitted. Certainly help in the heat of summer when attending Le Mans.

Looks slightly odd when you are not familiar with theie use. Always confuses at least one marshal at out local hill climb as they assume the bonnets are not fastened down...

The alternative, as someone suggested to me, is to squash a tennis ball in between bonnet and bulkhead while only doing up the front bonnet catches - certainly cheaper, but remember to catch the ball every time you open the bonnet... grin2

J - have a great drive.
I last did the Great Ocean Road in about '1990 (when did London Bridge collapse in a storm, leaving a car, and occupants?, stranded?). Self and a former girlfriend were heading for Adelaide to pick up the train to Perth... smile

There is a morgan , or two, in Port Fairy, and mine too sometimes as we have a shack there.
