The purchase of a new set of tyres may prompt your shop to show more interest in balancing your wheels....money talks.

Just picked two of my alloy wheels from the tyre shop today. I'd popped them in for a rebalance after my front shimmy issue. The tyres had been swopped from the rear at the last service which is when my shimmy started up again.
One wheel was spot on....the other way out. The fitter reckoned that the tyre has spun on the rim at one stage therefore throwing the balance out. Hmmmmm.....those full throttle starts off the line at Prescott last summer?
He does a lot of tyre fitting on Morgans and isn't very complimentary about the quality of the alloys!
Jays Former Morgan owner. Gone but hopefully not forgotten!
