Today I've had a set of Vredesteins fitted. I prepped the car last night so that I could whip the wheels off today and take them down to the garage in the Polo. This is where jacking beams and wooden blocks are invaluable.  A closer view:    And here's the result: I spent a couple of hours painting the balance weights black. The current weights are often steel and will rust if not protected. Sometimes they are Zinc based.

Unfortunately they are all empty, but a handy way to remember what we like.
In case it's not obvious, we like wine.
