I found the under dash worked well where there was good satellite reception but it struggled a bit under the trees.

Thread drift alert. I am looking at a BlackVue DR650GW 2-CH HD GPS front and rear dash (rear dash??) cam. Does anyone have any knowledge of this model? TIA.

I just fitted a 1CH in the Mog but the g-sensor was too sensitive and it kept triggering events. I sent it back and got one where the g-sensor can be switched off. Other than this, I liked the camera.

Other than this, I liked the camera. It states this in the spec for this one: • G-Sensor Trigger Level programmable Maybe a different front camera?

The 1CH g-sensor was programmable but even when set to the least sensitive setting it continually triggered events. It is not possible to switch the sensor off. I tried it in my tintop and it worked OK.
The sensitivity is programmed through the App which establishes the wifi connection between a smart phone and the camera. The sensitivity settings are therefore the same for the 1CH camera as for the 2CH. It is of course possible that the camera was defective or just that it is not intended for use in a Mog.

I'd rather buy a different camera than go to the expense of fitting Suplex in the hope the camera worked properly.
I have no experience of Suplex and I like my car for what it is. I'm curious though why owners who have gone to the expense of having it installed have removed it. Perhaps someone who has done this will enlighten me?

I settled on the Transend Drive Pro about £75 on Amazon. We tested about a dozen different types at work and that one came out best and you can turn the sensor off.
