Not sure if everyone will agree with the findings and conclusions but for someone researching the options I have found the article thought provoking. I am still dithering about what would suit my circumstances best.

Many thanks for all your thoughts. To answer the odd question (MUCK ADAM)the Cair o Port I have is described as 2m x4.4m (small). This was just enough for an Aero but more than that fitted inside the garage with access to cupboard space still available. With door access at both sides of the chamber the snug fit presents no problem. I had storage fitted all around the garage reducing the internal space so was confined. I phoned the company (Hamilton Classics)and discussed my plans and was given some helpful information. The design of the roof has a slope which gives clearance to up and over doors, this was a plus point for me. I was also told they had incorporated a 3rd fan at some stage in their history to help reduce moisture in hard to get areas like the engine bay, another plus point.
(DAVE W) Yes, Dave, I could get my money back with a cheap camping holiday, although it did take 2 hours to assemble.
(FINGLES) I am encouraged in the knowledge that the company has been running for so long and that you have had 13 years of use with no issues.

(ROADSTER BOY/GAMBULUNGA) For about 4 years prior to the Aero I had a Roadster and 4/4 in garage but had no starting issues. This S1 Aero just seems more sensitive to the damp than the rest of the Morgan range. Didn't try a dehumidifier, wasn't sure how airtight my garage was

Many thanks for answering the questions - much appreciated - and far better to get your opinion based on your experience rather than just going by 'what should fit the dimensions' etc.

When I bought my S3 back in 2012 I sealed my garage walls and floor with a garage paint. I then changed the up and over door for an electric roller door that is probably the best seal you will get from a garage door.

Finally I put an Air Chamber into the garage and a dehumidifier. I have to say I had no problems with starting and the air chamber doubled up as a car cover as it kept dust etc...off the car.

I now have a new Aero 8 on order and I'm just in the process of doing the same to my new garage (3 bay garage - open inside). Just sealed the floor and walls and 3 new roller doors on order. I will be putting a wall mounted dehumidifier into this garage that will have the exit pipe run into the drainage. Should have a nice environment then to store three nice cars :-)

Fully recommend the Air Chamber/ Car o Port and Ruby Dry dehumidifiers. Worth also investing in a Relative Humidity monitor for the garage wall as the dehumidifier does not really need to be on when RH% is around 50% or less.

Rob, many thanks for your solutions to garage moisture problems. Sounds like you have covered all bases. I like the idea of a dehumidifier as well, to make sure everything else in the garage doesn't suffer form damp. If you have something of value in there it is worth protecting.
